OUR LITTLE FORGOTTEN STREET

Snow, snow...go away! The weather has been so much better, and our neighborhood is hoping for good things, hoping it will help melt the snow from our streets. Just when you think you have for sure been forgotten the snow plows make their way through the neighborhood. It was a noise we haven't heard much of this winter and they are too late to do much good unfortunately. We now have a "luge" for our cars/trucks to slide through to get to our homes. A few more days and maybe this will all be just a memory!

I've been stuck twice and needed to be pushed out and dad has been stuck twice as well. Thank goodness for good neighbors and friends with willing hands (and tow ropes)!

On a much lighter note I had a wonderful day today. I received the most thoughtful gift from Allie this Christmas...today I put together the puzzle that she had made me as a Christmas present. It was just the small little piece in the middle of the picture that was concerning me. I didn't know if I'd find the right spot for it!

Loved the name of the puzzle!
Perfect to take my mind off of all this snow that has at times held me hostage at home this winter.

That's a lot of love, hugs and kisses!
Thank you Allie!

Nothing makes me happier than a good puzzle. This is the most fun puzzle I have done in a long time!

And Poppy loves his joke book too. Allie sure knows what her grandma and grandpa like best in life! Thanks to everyone for all the great gifts and the wonderful times this past holiday season.

CHRISTMAS 2008

Well, another Christmas has come and gone! It was good to be with family. As for Robert and I, we had a very fun Christmas Eve once again!
There were lots of smiles...

And a lot of family love!!!

And...it's always fun to surprise Paul.
Last year...a healthy report on dad, This year...a blessing certificate!
It's funny that just a little piece of paper can make him SO happy.
Wish I would have known that when he was younger!

The kids had a lot of fun
playing Disney BINGO!

Everyone was a winner and won some pretty fun bingo gift bags.
The adults were all winners too! Even Phil who got called out to run ambulance just as we were getting ready to begin playing. Better luck next year Phil!

I was lucky enough to receive lots of Christmas hugs! They were so cuddly in their new Christmas pajama's!

But I think Kambree received the best Christmas present of all...the "chocolate" she had been wishing for!

Ok...my all time favorite picture. Look at Kambree in the background.
We have about a dozen pictures of her with her "chocolate"! She was serious about wanting this so badly. I think she's in LOVE!

Presents for everyone!

It's hard to catch Landon at a party...he's a busy boy!

But all in all...it was a great holiday. Just ask Kambree and her chocolate!
We're already planning for next years party!
