Traveling with Angie!!!

If anyone ever gets the chance to do what I did and invite myself along on Angie's ultrasound conference trip...do it! She had booked a beautiful 5 star hotel room at the Wynn. This was our view from our room on the 32nd floor (there were 60 floors so we were about halfway up). Who knew there was a golf course right on the Las Vegas strip?!

Angie's favorite corner in the hotel room...our bathroom was huge. Angie loved the big, deep bathtub. There was also a television to watch while you were soaking away! Also a large glass shower, 2 sink vanity with vanity chairs. Not to mention the toilet/phone area. Grandma could be very happy here with set of scales to check your weight each day!

This is the poolside cafe where we enjoyed breakfast. We loved the pool/garden area. Couldn't believe people were actually using the hot tub there. It was 90+ degrees outside and the water was HOT!

At night we just relaxed in the room and stayed away from the crowds. We watched airplanes coming in and just enjoyed the view. In the mornings when most people were still sleeping off the night before we ventured out to sightsee a bit. We took a trip over to the Belagio to their garden area which is always beautiful!

If you're wondering, both Angie and I came away winners from the Casino. We each put $1.00 a day into the nickel slot machines. At the end of the 4 days in Vegas we were each $4.00 ahead. It's like they wanted us to win...either that or Angie hit my "cash out" button so fast that I never got the chance to give anything back to them. Thanks Angie! Good trip!
