More tributes to Grandpa

So, that picture of us on the swing brought back bad memories of that trip....and a good one.

Bad: The moron who almost sent Grandma down a hill, then (while trying to protect Grandma) almost sent me down a hill. Then just kinda looked the other way like he didn't care. Still worked up about that. Dang kids today with their attitudes and their loud music!

Good: Grandma telling Grandpa to shoot the 'colorful' trees. I almost lost it on that one! haha :)

You are a good protector Paul. Grandma was lucky you were there...dang kids today - love that!

Purple was always his favorite color?! Too bad autumn leaves aren't purple but I'll bet he's enjoying color beyond measure where he is now!

Hi, this is Angela Ault now McMillan =) I have been wondering how grandpa was doing. I'm so sorry he's passed on. I think about him everytime I go on Skyline Drive. I don't live too far from Skyline Drive, so I've thought of him often. I loved camping with him. Camping with he and grandma (you do remember I was an adopted granddaughter don't you?) are among my fondest memories. I also think of him every time I play Yahtzee (Marci gave me Yahtzee for my birthday one year, and I still have it and will often play it by myself). What a great man he is. I'm also looking forward to seeing him again someday.
