Hi Everyone!
I thought the little blogger in our family would have posted about our trip by now. He hasn't so I'll post a couple of thoughts until he gets the time to do it up right!
Our May getaway was a lot of fun. We spent Saturday and Sunday in San Diego. We love to go to Old Town to have dinner and take pictures of all the beautiful flowers there. It was wonderful to have a great dinner as we listened to the mariachi band go from table to table. 
And on Sunday morning we went out to Coronado Island and put our feet in the ocean, wishing that Allie were there with us since she loves the ocean so much! We could have spent all day there but it was hot and Poppy was turning a pretty color of red, so we decided to move on.
Monday was our 31st anniversary and we enjoyed the day at the "Happiest Place on Earth" (yes, again). We make our own f

The rides were as fun, as usual, and we also went to Golden Horseshoe a couple of times. We were happy to catch the shuttle back to Ayres after a long, fun day. 
Tuesday we spent the day at Universal Studios. Boy, has it changed. We seen a lot of celebrities here too. Besides Jay Leno, dad kept me guessing as he yelled out "Look it's cheesy pants" (AKA Sponge Bob) and "There's Snoop Dog" (Scooby-Doo). In his defense, he said Snoop Dog is an honest mistake since Scooby-Doo wears a dog tag with "SD" on it!
We have a lot of fun when and wherever we go, but we spend a lot of our time saying how much we wish our family were with us because they would love it. Maybe next time?! I'm sure dad will post more pic's later.

I have spent way too much time one this blog. I need to learn how to format the pictures/word so that they make some sense. In the meantime, I have a new-found sense of appreciation for all of you bloggers!
I was wondering when we'd get to see these! I love being a Mom with young kids, but I certainly look forward to the day that we can take off foot loose and fancy free.
That picture of Dad turning red is kind of freaky looking. We need to teach him about sunscreen (or was he just really hot?). Allie would have loved playing in the ocean with you.
We definitely need to do a family vacation soon. Whether it's a Disney Cruise or just a Southern California trip. It would be fun!
It did take a long time to get those up but glad they are here. Looks like a lot of fun and today seems like the perfect day to put your feet in the ocean. Wish I could be there today! I can totally see how scooby and snoop are easily confused??!!
Way to go mom. You did a great job. I need help on posting again. Maybe this weekend.
Missed all you guys. We could have so much fun if everyone goes on vacation at the same time. Can't wait.
